Accessibility Statement

Scope

ezzy is committed to inclusion, equality, and accessibility for all. We strive to make this website accessible to everyone, with or without disabilities.

This accessibility statement applies to the website ezzy (https://ezzy.io/en/). It contains an assessment of how well this website meets accessibility requirements and explains how you can report barriers.

This statement is provided in accessible HTML on this website. It is based on an actual review of the website’s accessibility.

From the homepage and every other page of this website, you can reach this statement via the link “Barrierefreiheit” in the Footer 4 menu.

Conformance status

The European Accessibility Act is an EU directive that strengthens accessibility. It requires member states to introduce rules that improve barrier-free access to products and services for people with disabilities.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for developers and designers to improve the accessibility of web content for people with disabilities. WCAG is the globally recognized standard for digital accessibility. It defines three conformance levels: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Current EU regulations require conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which represents a strong standard for overcoming most accessibility barriers.

ezzy currently meets the requirements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA only partially. This means that some areas of the website do not yet fully meet accessibility requirements. We are actively working to resolve all known issues.

Accessibility measures

We want our services to be usable for everyone. To improve accessibility and user experience, we have implemented the following measures where possible:

  • Skip links at the start of each page provide quick keyboard access to important sections.
  • Images are published with descriptive alternative text where provided in the content editor.
  • Headings follow a clear structure to support intuitive navigation.
  • Text and layouts are designed to remain readable and usable when zoomed.

Non-accessible content

Where content is not fully accessible, we list the affected areas below, explain the reasons, and describe accessible alternatives where available.

  • Older PDF documents

Reason: These files were created before current accessibility requirements were applied.

Accessible alternative: Contact us using the feedback options below and we will provide an accessible alternative where possible.

  • Third-party embeds (for example videos or maps)

Reason: Third-party providers control the accessibility of embedded content.

Accessible alternative: We provide accessible alternatives or additional information on request where available.

  • Individual images without alternative text

Reason: Some legacy content was published before alternative text was added consistently.

Accessible alternative: We are updating affected content continuously. Please tell us if you need a text alternative for a specific image.
